The Governance Committee is an ad hoc committee formed at the October 3, 2012 Board Meeting in Honolulu. The Governance Committee will address implementation of the 2012-2017 Strategic Plan as well as number of issues identified in memos and correspondence on the topic of governance included into the 10/3/2102 Board Book.
The following four principle subject areas have been identified:
The number and character of annual meetings of the membership;
The number, location and character of meetings of the Executive Committee and Board of Governors.
The adequacy of administrative support and policy direction in relation to the Strategic Plan, 2012-2017
Any other matter of general interest to the membership.
The Governance Committee is scheduled to provide a progress report at the April 25, 2013 Board Meeting in Boston.
