Global Economy and Its Implication for India:
Land Policies, Governance and their Implied Issues

Introduction

Ar. Anilkumar Hatkar

President – AUM Chapter

LAMBDA ALPHA INTERNATIONAL is a federation with over 30 chapters having over 2500 members spread across the N. America ,Canada. Europe and South Asia. Lambda Alpha International (we refer as LAl herein after) with their long standing existence since more than 75 years was established by renowned Economists Sir Richard Ely (Chicago).

LAl fosters high ethical standards, it encourages learning and discussions, social interaction and community activities among the leaders in all professions through meetings, contributing to Land Economics. The AUM chapter was chartered in year 2014 in Madrid. Since then AUM chapter and its designated leadership has actively promoted and held many events, seminars and orientation programs in all allied subjects in Land Economics to date. Dr. C. S. Deshpande has strived and has taken initiative to carve out a unique subject for discussion on global economic perspectives for LAl.

On behalf of LAI, and as the president of the local chapter here in India, I would like to put forth this session which is of utmost relevance for India and its position in global economics. We have put together a distinguished panel who are masters of this subject and it gives me immense pleasure to introduce to you our eminent  speakers Smt. Dhanmanjri Sathe, Shri Pethe, Shri Ranade and Shri Rajadhyaksha. The session will be anchored by our good friend and senior chapter member Shri.C S Deshpande.

This ensuing Virtual webinar in one of its kind and the AUM chapter leadership has hosted the webinar on the captioned subject on 29th July 2022 at 20:00 hrs IST/ 10:30AM EDT.

Synopsis of the Webinar

It has become a cliché to say that the global economy as a whole and almost all the major economies of the world, are at crossroads. Yet, the fact remains that when the Economies were barely recovering from the Pandemic by early 2022, the Russia Ukraine Conflict has accentuated the already existing uncertainties. Indeed the policy makers round the world, Govts and Central Bankers, have to navigate an extremely rough terrain in the coming months. This webinar will motivate professionals and policy makers to look in to nuances of the subject matter and draw a perspective.
