Chris Behrens, YA's CEO, has strategically reinvented and elevated companies in Minnesota, across the U.S., and even internationally. In 2015, after over 40 years in the town of Norwood Young America, YA packed up and moved to the historic Lumber Exchange Building in downtown Minneapolis. Chris will share his background in business leadership and the recent decision-making process for moving YA’s U.S. headquarters from a small town 50 miles southwest of the Twin Cities to a historic building in the heart of downtown.

Prior to becoming president and CEO of YA, Chris built a national reputation for repositioning and elevating companies in the marketing industry. In 2017, he was named by Insights Success magazine as one of the 30 most creative CEOs to watch as a passionate leader transforming ideas into innovation. He is a regular guest lecturer at the Carlson School of Management and serves on their Advisory Board.
