Please join Lambda Alpha International’s Baltimore Chapter for our October 20th Virtual Presentation: Academic Real Estate Education in the Baltimore/National Capital Area
Real Estate represents a very broad range of industries which means that higher educational programs tend to specialize in ways that meet their mission and faculty expertise. Come learn about how the real estate programs in the Baltimore/National Capital area provide pedagogical and applied learning for their students so that employers have a clear pathway beyond graduation. Academic directors of several area programs will present an overview of the academic real estate landscape and then each will describe what their respective institutions are doing in terms of educational programming, community engagement, and research.

Panel will be Moderated by LAI Baltimore Members:
Seema Iyer, University of Baltimore
Lindsay Thompson, Johns Hopkins University

Panelists:
Tanya Bansal, University of Maryland
Maria Day-Marshall, University of Maryland
Eric Maribojoc, George Mason University

You are invited to a Zoom meeting.
When: Oct 20, 2021 12:00 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada)

12 - 12:30 p.m. Virtual networking. We will have two breakout rooms:
12-12:15 p.m. and 12:15 to 12:30 p.m.

THIS PRESENTATION WILL BE VIRTUAL ONLY, WITH NO ON-SITE OPTION
Instead, between 12:00 and 12:30 we will have two 15-minute breakout sessions in groups of 4-6 LAI members to allow us to get to know each other better on a social basis. These will be followed by the presentation at 12:30pm.
