Why sustainability and the ESG criteria are key aspects in Real State?
Resumen/Abstract:
No es casualidad que el sector inmobiliario, desde los últimos años preste especial atención a la sostenibilidad, la descarbonización y los criterios ESG ( ambiental, social y de gobernanza). Hay una clara razón, el Real Estate es el responsable de cerca del 40% de las emisiones de CO₂ de todo el mundo. La regulación, el valor y la atractividad de los activos para todos los stakeholders, pero sobre todo el acceso al capital y financiación, hace que abordarlo sea una obligación para el sector.
It is not by chance that the Real State sector pay special attention since the past few years to sustainability issues, to decarbonization and to the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria. There is a clear reason why: Real State is responsible of around 40% of the global CO2 emissions worldwide. Regulations, the value and the attractiveness of assets for all the stakeholders, but even more the access to capital and financing, makes addressing it a must for the sector.
Speaker´s presentation
Javier Liquete es Responsable de las cuentas estratégicas en Deepki para los mercados de Iberia y LATAM. Deepki es una Protech (Climate tech), SaaS tecnológica, que alineada con los criterios ESG, ayuda al sector inmobiliario a abordar la sostenibilidad.
Es Licenciado en Marketing, Publicidad y Relaciones Públicas por la Universidad de Valladolid y la Radboud University. MBA en marketing ejecutivo y máster en impulso directivos por la Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
Además es activista voluntario de Climate Reality Project.
Javier Liquete is Strategic Key Account Manager by Deepki for the Iberia and LATAM markets. Deepki os a Protech (Climate Tech), technologic SaaS, aligned with the ESG criteria, helps the Real State sector to address sustainability.
He own a degree in Marketing, Advertising and Public Relationships by the Universitiy of Valladolid and by the Radboud University, MBA in Executive Marketing and Master in Executive Impulse by the Open University of Catalonia.
Furthermore, he is a volunteer activist at the Climate Reality Project.
