Join LAI Philly for a morning event to learn about the Community Design Collaborative, a 501(3)c nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Philadelphia communities envision the environments where residents live, work, and play.
The Community Design Collaborative wants to ensure every neighborhood can be engaged in community design and be a place where residents can thrive. To achieve that goal the organization brings communities and designers together through pro bono preliminary design for local needs such as health centers, school libraries and gardens.
Over coffee and light bites you’ll heard from representatives of CDC, volunteer companies and individuals about their projects in the works and discuss equitable development in Philadelphia.
In addition to the discussion there will be time for networking.
